About

Hi. I’m an engineer at Replit, smoothing the path for software creators. The few things I've learned have given me the ability to do work I find fun and meaningful, so I'm eager to help others have that experience too.

My first obsession was tinkering with mechanical and fluid systems, which led to joining SpaceX out of college to work on the Dragon 2 propellant tanks. After doing some teaching and programming on the side, I became more obsessed with creating software that gives people new learning opportunities.

I left SpaceX to start a company creating VR software for learning physics. I got the project to a pilot stage, where I used it to teach classes to some awesome kids online, but determined that I wasn’t experienced enough with either education or software to start an online school in VR.

At the start of 2020 I joined an inspiring early-stage startup called Primer, to help offer new modes of learning to kids who didn't fit in the traditional system (nearly all kids). I switched from the education team to the engineering team at Primer, where I helped develop our web app. My favorite technical project at Primer was our real-time collaboration app, Rooms, which kids use to collaborate with each other remotely.

I now work on growth projects as an engineer at Replit, where our mission is to bring the next billion software creators online.

I moved around a lot growing up, living on the east and west coasts of the US, as well as in New Delhi, India for highschool. I lived in Los Angeles for the first few years out of college and now live in San Francisco.
